bio
Tay Pollard, M.A. Cand., RP (Qualifying), has a clinical focus in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate the transition to increased autonomy and independence, along with the emotional, relational, and identity-based challenges that often accompany this life stage. Tay is especially passionate about supporting individuals who struggle with tolerating distress and regulating emotions.
Tay sees individual adolescent and young adult Comprehensive DBT clients and co-facilitates many of the group therapy programs at Broadleaf.
She brings experience working with neurodiverse populations and integrates DBT with strengths-based approaches to support emotional resilience and meaningful change. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and grounded in both professional training and authenticity.
Tay holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She works under the clinical supervision of Jessica Clowe, R.S.W., and Dr. Andrew Ekblad, PhD, C.Psych.
