Elaine Saeed is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a background in law enforcement. After serving nearly 17 years with the Toronto Police Service, she transitioned into the field of psychotherapy with a passion for supporting first responders, frontline professionals, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions.
Drawing on her extensive experience in policing, Elaine has a firsthand understanding of the unique occupational stressors, cumulative trauma, organizational challenges, and cultural dynamics that first responders face. This lived professional experience allows her to build rapport quickly, foster trust, and provide care that is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and an appreciation of the realities of frontline work.
Elaine takes a compassionate, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities and mindfulness-based interventions.
