Dr Peter Cordell, MD, is a Psychiatrist with Subspecialty Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
He attended medical school at Western University, Schulich School of Medicine, London, Ontario. Dr. Cordell completed his specialization in Psychiatry through McMaster University (DeGroote School of Medicine, Waterloo Regional Campus).
Dr. Cordell then completed 2 years of subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, which in Canada is an additional designation apart from General Psychiatry. This subspecialty training was through Western University, Schulich School of Medicine in London, Ontario.
Dr Cordell has had supervision in CBT, DBT, IPT, psychodynamic and EFT. He has also had training in MBCT, MI, and trauma-informed care.
He works closely with the DBT team and will be supervised by Dr. Ekblad when involved in individual DBT clinical work alongside the team at Broadleaf Health.
